We are currently seeking applicants for a Resource Planner in the Resource Planning department of our Engineering & Operations division, located in Springfield, MO.  This position is responsible for economic studies and analysis of AECI’s fleet of electric generation resources.  Production cost model software is utilized to stochastically simulate economic dispatch of AECI’s fleet of generation resources and the interaction with the wholesale electric utilities markets utilizing numerous economic, policy and asset performance assumptions.  Results of simulations and supporting analysis are used to assess and consider risk factors related to AECI’s changing resource needs, new assets, asset retirements, fuel utilization and to provide estimates for near and long term cost to supply energ
