As a Sr. Mechanical Project Engineer in our Power Production division, you will get to manage and work on exciting projects to help support both capital and O&M initiatives across the plant generation fleet which provides reliable electricity to our member-owners.

What you’ll do in your role:

• Develop solutions to issues related to compliance, heat rate improvements, maintenance, or operational improvements
• Evaluate costs and capabilities of new concepts, methods, or equipment and provide recommendations for implementation
• Develop projects from initial concept and budgeting through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Track projects through execution including cost and schedule, reporting progress using effective communication strategies
• Manage procurement processes - developing RFPs, conducting bid evaluations, and negotiating commercial terms and conditions
• Manage internal programs in QA/QC and other areas to support maintenance functions at the power plants
