As a Sr. Mechanical Project Engineer in our Power Production division, you will get to manage and work on exciting projects to help support both capital and O&M initiatives across the plant generation fleet which provides reliable electricity to our member-owners.
What you’ll do in your role:
Develop solutions to issues related to compliance, heat rate improvements, maintenance, or operational improvements
Evaluate costs and capabilities of new concepts, methods, or equipment and provide recommendations for implementation
Develop projects from initial concept and budgeting through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
Track projects through execution including cost and schedule, reporting progress using effective communication strategies
Manage procurement processes - developing RFPs, conducting bid evaluations, and negotiating commercial terms and conditions
Manage internal programs in QA/QC and other areas to support maintenance functions at the power plants
