Purpose of Position: The Controller maintains the integrity of the general ledger. Provides the leading role in the monthly financial statement development including coaching other accounting staff members. Assists the CFO with other month-end procedures, the annual audit, budget, board presentations, payroll, and other financial analysis. Prepares all city, state and federal taxes and manages all correspondence with the Internal Revenue Service and auditors as necessary.
