Grand Electric Cooperative, Inc. has an opening for an Assistant Director of Finance position at its headquarters office in Bison, SD.  The successful applicant must have a BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and a minimum of three years of experience in auditing, finance, or accounting. Preference will be given to Certified Public Accountant applicants.  

This is a unique experience as the applicant will also assist with the financial and member aspects of a communications Cooperative that provides voice, video, and broadband services, allowing professional growth in three diverse industries. Job duties include assisting the Director of Finance in developing annual budgets, managing financial functions, overseeing the Accounting department, managing strategic planning and prepare numerous regulatory reports for various state and federal government agencies.
