The Tri-County Electric Cooperative Human Resources Summer Intern is a paid intern program that gives candidates an opportunity to gain real life skills and experience in a professional environment. We are looking for individuals who want to blaze their own career path and be a part of a growing organization.
Job Description Components of the Program:
Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments
Develop analytical and interpersonal skills needed for a career in human resources or a related field
Attend regular departmental meetings, covering a variety of human resources topics
LinkedIn Learning research and playlist creation
Performance review closeout and assist with new system implementation
Project assistance
Organization and audit of employee records both physical and electronic
Perform other department related tasks as assigned
Submit an Organization Evaluation on the intern experience during the final week of the internship
Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in a college program pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field
At least 16 years of age
Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
