Consolidated, a cooperative in central Ohio dedicated to improving the quality of life for our members and communities, is seeking a Material and Supply Specialist.

We are looking for someone who thrives on organization and setting up our team for success - that includes requesting material, maintaining stock levels, loading/unloading deliveries, and assisting our operations department to serve our members. You’ll join a self-motivated team where you’ll complete warehouse maintenance, inventory control/auditing, recordkeeping, scrap or salvage material, and do all the things involved in obtaining, issuing, controlling, organizing, and accounting for materials, parts, and supplies. In this role, you'll need to become familiar with materials used in our gas, electric, and fiber lines of business. Your day could include requesting and receiving materials, operating a forklift, issuing materials, processing paperwork and updating work orders; assisting line mechanics in pre-assembling materials for jobs; loading, unloading, fueling, and maintaining fleet vehicles; staging materials for electric and fiber contract work; delivering materials to job sites as needed; and more. You'll need to become familiar with materials used for our gas, electric, and fiber services. You will be an integral part of the cooperative team in this role!

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills and mechanical orientation required.
• Valid driver’s license, CDL desired, with the ability to work from either the Mount Gilead or Delaware, OH facilities as needed required.
• Capable of making full use of available tools, equipment, and technologies.
• Effective communication, organization, and planning skills.
• Accuracy, self-motivation, and emotional intelligence are required.
• Aptitude to fulfill all the competencies for the position (Assessment & Monitoring; Attention to Detail / Industrial Equipment Operation / Job Knowledge / Planning, Coordination, & Organization / Quality Control & Continuous Improvement / Standards & Practices / Supply Chain Management & Procurement / Technical Credibility / Troubleshooting / Vehicle Operations / Working with Basic Hand, Power Tools, & Technology).
• Previous work experience is desired, but not required.
