A recent promotion has created an opportunity for a Marketing Specialist at Cotton Electric Cooperative, Inc. This position develops and implements advertising sales plans for The Current. Must be able to create and design ad copy and meet rigorous deadlines. Must have strong written and oral communication skills. This position maintains an inventory of promotional items; participates in outreach programs; and assists with social media (may include nights and weekends). Previous advertising, graphic design, marketing and/or public relations experience is required. A bachelor’s degree in business, journalism, marketing or communications is preferred. Must have a thorough understanding of personal computer software dealing with word processing and graphic design software including
