Electrical District No. 2 (ED2) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of General Ledger Accountant. This position offers a great opportunity for professional growth and advancement in an industry that is rapidly changing. Ideal candidate must enjoy being challenged and working in a team-oriented atmosphere. Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, at least 3 to 4 years of experience, and be a licensed CPA or working toward certification. Knowledge of accounting systems, and Microsoft Office applications is required. Knowledge of NISC Software is a plus. Major responsibilities for this position include general ledger, plant accounting, financial statement preparation, financial analysis, and special projects.
