High school diploma and two years of college, business school or associate’s degree and five years of administrative clerical experience required. Prefer a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field of study and significant office administration experience.
have excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with EVP/CEO, Board of Directors, all employees, member-owners and the general public as the EVP/CEO’s liaison.
conduct research on varied topics, compile data and compose correspondence.
be able to maintain confidentiality in work tasks.
take short-hand or rapid note-taking and be able transcribe from dictation or recording.
handle concurrent and varied activities and meet deadlines balancing multiple priorities.
use computer hardware and software to perform requirements of the job.
Candidate must live within 30 miles of the Cooperative’s headquarters (376 Grindstone Rd., Waynesville, NC).
