Be a champion of safety culture• Coordinate the cooperative’s safety program• Be familiar with the BEMC safety manual and existing policies, procedures and regulations• Ensure the cooperative meets the criteria of the NRECA and Rural Electric Safety Achievement Program (RESAP)• Keep abreast of new or changing laws, regulations or technical developments• Collaborate on the planning and implementation of safety policies and procedures• Serve as point of contact for Federated Insurance and OSHA on-site visits• Present safety messages to all audiences• Must have ability to receive and maintain confidential information
