Carry out overhead and underground line construction, operation, and maintenance of electric distribution systems. Ability to work with field crews to ensure safe work practices are always followed. Perform three-phase line construction, framing, pole setting and wire stringing. Perform hot-line work and secondary circuits with little supervision. Make common connections on distribution transformer, meter/loops and primary circuits. Check voltages and determine proper operation technical equipment. Follow maps and routine instructions in specification and staking sheet responsibilities. Climb poles readily and work satisfactorily on poles in routine construction as supervised.
