Responsible for managing, directing, accounting and planning the tax functions, which include preparation, direction, evaluation, research and analysis of all tax activities that impact the company and its members with an emphasis on supporting company objectives through proactive tax planning and optimization of savings. Manages, directs, and trains personnel. Manages and performs the research and analysis of tax pronouncements, rulings, laws, regulations and guidelines and appraises management of their implications on company operations. Develops viable alternatives and plans to minimize tax increases and maximize tax savings. Manages the timely preparation of tax returns, development of systems, maintenance of records, preparation of related reports and coordination with management.

Hiring Salary Range: $130,000-$162,000
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary outside of the posted hiring salary range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association is a wholesale electric power supplier owned by the 43 electric cooperatives that it serves.
