The successful candidate provides immediate supervision, direction and scheduling of meter and line locating work and performs all meter technician I and II tasks. This position involves working with voltages up to 480 volts. The Meter Technician III may train and qualify Meter Technician I/II personnel.  ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Meter Tech III Directs assigned personnel and performs all functions necessary to configure, install, calibrate, test and repair all types of the cooperative’s metering equipment and devices. Writes/creates programs for and programs single and polyphase meters for revenue billing. Programs meter endpoints for Aclara or other communications.
