This position is responsible the planning and optimization of daily resource commitment schedules and portfolio positions to provide the most economic operations of the Big Rivers' power system. Perform post-analysis of actual dispatch and system operations to determine opportunities for efficiency improvements. Assist in the monthly FAC process by allocating previous month purchases accordingly. Continuously seek improvements to processes and analyses used for commitment and dispatch of generation assets. Support trading and risk management activities through the quantification of the net position of the power system portfolio. Design and perform post-analysis models of previous day system operation to determine opportunities for dispatch efficiency and purchase/sales improvements.
