This position develops and maintains all aspects of Hoosier Energy's Geographic Information System and Enterprise Asset Management application related to Delivery Services assets. The position includes GIS application development, system implementation, data migration, change management of GIS data as well as overall asset management and maintenance records responsibility in both GIS and CMMS applications. The position manages stakeholder needs from multiple departments and utilizes data applications to provide a communication platform supporting data driven business decisions. The Geospatial / Enterprise Asset Management Coordinator will ultimately hold responsibility for all asset and maintenance records and associated software systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead GIS development and GIS/EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) software integration projects.
Responsible for the successful completion of projects in accordance with the business objectives balancing the budget, scope, quality considerations. In addition, supervise, track, and report the overall project status and progress and ensure all scheduled milestones and delivery dates are met.
Create various status reports and lead/coordinate status meetings covering schedule, risks, issues, budget vs. actuals, deliverables, and resources of associated responsibilities.
Ensure the overall quality of the project(s)/program(s)/ application(s) deliverables.
Conducts quality assurance reviews of all deliverables based on agreed standards and practices.
Provide on-site consultation, including implementation of software, use of geospatial tools and techniques to solve problems, training, and support.
Serve as a central point of contact for all project interdependencies and data requirements both internal and external.
Use project execution experience and knowledge to provide input and influence project execution processes and quality assurance/ quality control protocols.
Assist with or lead the business process design to drive out the full set of application requirements: functional, quality, integration, and security.
Validate that the application requirements meet overall business process needs, are within the project/application(s) scope.
Lead or assist with creating high level project communications and status reporting to the executive team.
Create, edit, and maintain features and associated attributes of assets in a GIS environment.
Create, edit, and maintain features and associated attributes of assets in a CMMS environment.
Develop and manage change management process ensuring accurate near real-time details in asset software applications.
Engineer, maintain, and support GIS data sets including incorporation of new assets upon completion of maintenance or construction projects.
Develops and supports mobile application providing accurate GIS and asset data to remote users.
Provides communication platform for GIS and EAM data which effectively supports overall asset management and business decisions.
Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
Associate’s Degree in GIS, geography, IT, computer science, engineering, mathematics or closely related field required minimum
Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, geography, IT, computer science, engineering, mathematics or closely related field preferred
Experience:
5 years’ experience in GIS technologies including platform architecture, solution design, project envisioning, deployment security, cloud and scalability required minimum
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
The ability to influence, lead and manage change thoughtfully and positively.
Experience utilizing ESRI ArcGIS or ArcGIS Pro Software. Preferably in the electric utility industry.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server preferred.
Proficiency with data management and organization.
Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) Certification preferable but not required.
