Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative is seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Work Order Administrator. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. The Work Order Administrator facilitates the physical closing of work orders after completion of construction, including as-built review. They will direct as-built coordination with Staking and Design, Joint Use, Environmental Services, Right-of-Way, Purchasing, Construction, and Accounting. This role manages the collection and reporting of interruption reports, including data review and quality control measures. Provides administrative and technical support to the Engineering Services department.

Reviews completed construction work orders to determine compliance with engineering design. Tracks and monitors work order status and timeframes, including permitting requirements and expiration dates. Coordinates construction work with permitting agencies as required by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
Assists the Right-of-Way department with the preparation and acquisition of right-of-way permits and easements.
Works with Joint Use, Construction, Staking, Warehouse, and Accounting upon completion of construction to ensure and verify as-built data is complete, which may include field inspections.
Manages the collection and reporting of interruptions and outages, responding to the AZ Corporation Commission (ACC) when necessary.
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree with major course work in a related field; or specialized certificates from Right-of-Way Professional Development courses; or five (5) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient at database management, word processing, spreadsheets, and computer applications in general, including Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of utility operations and practices. Thorough understanding of RUS Standards, Cooperative policies, and procedures related to this position and an understanding of Basic Electricity preferred.
Arizona Driver’s License.
