Job Summary: This position is a full-time, non-union, salary position with benefits.
The Technology and Integration Specialist will provide support for the cooperative’s OT/IT systems, network, and computer hardware/software. This role is focused on the technical support of Henry County REMC representatives, field service personnel, staff, and board members.
Details: • Administer the various OT/IT software applications used by the cooperative. • Provision, configure, and administer communication devices for field deployment. • Travel to substation and tower locations for communication device troubleshooting. • Provide after-hours support through On-Call rotation. • Assist in training personnel in the use of IT/OT applications. • Attend industry conferences, trainings, and professional group meetings. • Make recommendations for new technological improvements and participate in projects to purchase, install, and test hardware/software.

Desired Qualifications: • Associate degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred. • Experience working in an electric utility environment. • Experience with field mobile applications on iOS devices. • Ability to independently analyze problems or needs, with minimal oversight, to develop solutions. • Must have the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet required deadlines. • Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player. • Must maintain a valid driver’s license, pass a background check, and drug screening. • Must be able and willing to continue education.
