Position Summary Dispatchers will operate the telephone and two-way radio efficiently and courteously, transmitting to and receiving information from consumers and operators of radio-equipped vehicles. Dispatchers must possess the ability to learn CECC's distribution and transmission systems, which includes being able to identify CECC's distribution and transmission system components, along with generating and directing switching orders and line refeeds. Dispatchers should be able to learn and understand basic electrical theory as it applies to CECC's distribution system.
