At the New Madrid Power Plant, we are on the hunt for a dedicated and collaborative individual to fill our role of Controls Engineer.
This position will have several responsibilities, such as:
Control system modernization projects, which including maintaining power plant control system documentation, equipment history, standardization and modernization information for all generating assets.
Perform periodic assessments of control systems to evaluate functionality, obsolescence, operability and maintainability.
Capture system information to ensure clear documentation of design and existing installation characteristics.
Provide engineering support for the maintenance and operation of DCS control systems, the CEMS system, and of the auxiliary and PLC control systems.

Requirements
Engineering experience in the power industry working on instrumentation and controls systems.
Possess a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
Project management experience preferred.
Experience supporting distributed control systems manufactured by Emerson Ovation is preferred.
