POSITION OPEN:                Energy Services/Master Electrician

LOCATION:                          Two Harbors, MN

POSITION SUMMARY:  Cooperative Light & Power (CLP) has an immediate opening for a full-time Energy Services/Master Electrician.

Energy Services/Master Electrician duties include but are not limited to promoting and supporting all of CLP's services and products, assisting members in the planning and decision-making process regarding rebuilding or installing a new electrical service, supporting the safety culture of CLP by complying with all safety requirements, performs required repairs, maintenance, and inspection of energy management installations, performs electrical and mechanical plant maintenance, installations, and repairs on CLP owned or managed facilities.

Applicant must have two years of vocational training in the electrical field or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. Applicant must hold a Master Electrician's License, maintain a Certificate of Responsible Individual Master Electrician for the purpose of Cooperative Light & Power Contractors License, and maintain continued education to satisfy the Master’s License. A Minnesota Driver’s License along with a Minnesota Health Card are required. Upon offer of employment, candidates will be subject to a pre-employment physical, a background check, and a pre-employment drug screening.
