As a GIS Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our distribution system design. You will collaborate with our team to maintain and improve our Geographic Information System (GIS) to support our mission. This role involves producing essential maps, diagrams, drawings, and reports using GIS and other software tools. You will work under the guidance of our Director of Operations and Safety.
A Few Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate on engineering analysis to meet current and future requirements.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date electrical model and associated database within our GIS.
Produce maps, diagrams, drawings, and reports as needed.
Assist in implementing and upholding GIS best practices.
Qualifications:
S. degree in computer science or a GIS-related field from an accredited institution or equivalent years of experience.
Two (2) years of directly related experience in engineering or the GIS field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/ESRI or similar GIS software is preferable.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
