Responsibilities: Conducts system planning studies including load forecasts, voltage drop studies, short circuit analysis, arc-flash analysis, and other engineering and operational studies on the cooperative’s distribution & transmission system utilizing Engineering Analysis software. Provide recommendations on system protection (coordination studies) and sectionalizing improvements Makes recommendation of corrective actions that may be taken to improve system reliability. Assist in developing and implementing 3-4-year Construction Work Plans and Long-Range Plans.
