Farmers Electric Cooperative is currently searching for a Fleet Mechanic to join our growing team. The fleet mechanic will work on all cooperative vehicles and equipment including inspections, diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, maintenance, stocking of parts and recordkeeping. Experience performing routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery is needed. The ability to inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other vital parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition, is necessary. The desired candidate should have the ability to follow set policies and procedures, uphold organizational values, and work with ethics and integrity.
