This position is responsible for providing direction, leadership, and management of the FERC Regulatory Compliance and Auditing Program, to ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations related to FERC orders, rules and regulations. The position must be capable of working across department boundaries to ensure consistent application of compliance processes and activities. Carrying out this responsibility requires keeping up to date on evolving FERC regulations, participating on industry committees and working groups to represent Tri-State positions and influence consensus recommendations, monitoring FERC compliance activities, including monitoring new and revised FERC orders that affect Tri-State, and complete relevant FERC form filings. This position must also develop FERC regulatory compliance plans, working with other business units and departments, to effectively implement regulatory changes. This position is responsible for the oversight of internal Tri-State audits related to compliance with FERC orders, rules and regulations, as well as carrying out compliance related processes such as the development and execution of procedures, self-reports, cause analyses and mitigation plans.

Hiring Salary Range: $140,000-$191,000

Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association is a wholesale electric power supplier owned by the 43 electric cooperatives that it serves. Tri-State generates and transmits electricity to its member systems throughout a 200,000 square-mile service territory across Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico and Wyoming.
