General The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, coordination, overcurrent protection, voltage regulation, load balancing, planning, and troubleshooting of the Cooperative’s electric power distribution system. Additionally, this position will assist with the Cooperative’s AMI system and the supporting communication infrastructure.
Essential and Physical Functions Must have sufficient physical health to perform the essential functions, duties and responsibilities of the job. Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs. Must be able to do the following: Stoop, kneel, crouch, type on a keyboard, walk for long distances, walk on rough terrain, and sit for extended periods.
Education and Experience Must be working towards or currently have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from accredited university. Valid driver’s license required.
