Total Rewards:
A typical starting range for this position is $71,000 - $83,000 annually. We offer market competitive base pay and adjust our offer accordingly based upon the value of the candidate’s knowledge, skills and experience. General Summary:
The Technical Analyst will perform the following functions:
· Analyze, architect, design, develop, implement and provide operational support to business processes, business applications and system integrations.
· Identify business requirements and determine system and/or process needs to ensure project deliverables meet customer expectations.
· Identify, extract and analyze business data, interpret models and disseminate information with a topical focus in support of business operations.
· Design and develop business solutions based on business requirements to provide business improvements.
· Develop and conduct quality assurance testing to ensure quality products are delivered.
· Support, enhance and maintain existing business applications to ensure their availability, reliability, and performance.
· Establish and maintain application development and support processes to improve application reliability for the business.
Qualifications:
· Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field and 0-3 years’ experience developing and supporting business systems or applications OR 2 + years of post-high school education in a technology related field and 2-5 years’ experience developing and supporting business systems or applications.
· Knowledge in business systems analysis, gathering requirements and developing processes and data models.
· Basic understanding of core functional ETL processing and its operational management
· Basic understanding of relational database technology
· Experience developing reports against relational databases
· Strong problem solving, communication, organizational and time management skills
· Strong team focus and ability to work well with others is a must
· Experience with architectural design, development and testing of business applications is desired
· Strong development background in web applications using HTML, C#, and Object-Oriented programming skills, such as .Net are a must
· Preferred skills include: IBM Cognos, SQL, PL/SQL, Transact-SQL, User Interaction Design, source code repositories, JavaScript, Linux/OpenShift, JSON, REST CSS, XML and testing tools.
Working Conditions:
Normal office conditions with visits into plants. Conditions may include long periods of sitting, using a keyboard or mouse, and reading a PC monitor. May be required to do occasional lifting of computer equipment (approx. 40 lbs.) and work under and around office furniture and plant equipment. Exempt personnel are expected to work the necessary hours to get the required work accomplished. This position is subject to 24X7 support as needed. Every effort will be made to resolve IT issues by on-call rotational staff. May be expected to travel to support remote sites and to attend training and conferences. May be required to perform support functions, testing and training under various environmental conditions. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
