The Systems Support Analyst 2 Maximo works with Client Services, Fusion Teams, IT infrastructure teams, developers, testers, vendors and business users to ensure rapid thorough analysis and problem resolution and of incidents. Activities include incident support, troubleshooting and testing to identify the possible cause of incidents; determining the appropriate course of action to resolve the issues with minimal business disruption, and establishing processes to ensure systems and applications availability. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining applications in production and lower environments including new releases, enhancements and upgrades. The Systems Support Analyst 2 will serve as liaison between departments and generate documentation in the support systems and applications across various platforms. A successful Systems Support Analyst 2 must be a strong communicator with experience in analysis, issue management, problem solving and technical troubleshooting. Technical experience and aptitude are attributes that are necessary for success.
Primary Position Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is to provide second application administration, systems support, guidance solution strategies and metrics.
Coordinate internal and third-party resources for Operational Maintenance (enhancements, bug fixes and upgrades) releases.
Works closely with CoServ’s business departments, IT and vendors to assist in process improvements, maintenance releases and upgrades for current systems and new systems implementations.
Liaison between the CoServ’s business units and technical teams to lead or assist in developing business requirements.
Coordinates and participates in Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing for software releases.
Participate in RCA (root cause analysis) activities.
Write basic SQL queries to obtain and analyze data for troubleshooting and testing purposes.
Assists more senior analysts in developing/revising and documenting policies and procedures for supporting new and current systems.
Support other projects as and when required.
Complies with established CoServ safety and operating rules, procedures and guidelines including reporting unsafe practices to a supervisor.
Complies with established CoServ Information Security Handbook, policies, procedures, and guidelines including reporting suspected information security incidents to Tech Support.
Secondary Position Responsibilities

Subject matter expert (SME) in the area served by the system.
Problem solving, solution investigation and delivery.
Driving Enterprise Applications projects.
Participating/representing Enterprise Applications during Enterprise and departmental projects.

Education and Certifications Required
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalency.
Associate’s degree in related discipline

Experience Required
3+ years Business Analyst, Systems Support Analyst or Application Support Analyst experience
Experience with IBM Maximo application support
