We are currently seeking applicants for a Supervisor, Building Services in our Accounting & Finance Division located at Headquarters in Springfield, MO.
The role of the Supervisor is to direct the daily operations of the Building Services staff. A primary focus should be providing employees with a safe, comfortable, and professional work environment. The Supervisor, Building Services must have a comprehensive understanding of building functions such as heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, redundant power supplies, fire protection, and lawn and garden. In the event of a building emergency outside normal working hours, the Supervisor oversees and participates in a 24-hour on call program. This position must be responsive to customers’ requests while also being a good steward with the company’s funds. Organizational skills are required to oversee large maintenance and construction projects. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must due to frequent contact with all employees at headquarters as well as outside vendors.
We are seeking a candidate with facilities maintenance experience, with previous supervisory responsibility. The position requires use of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The supervisor is responsible for oversight of work done indoors and outdoors and may involve work in all weather conditions.
