Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Distribution Automation Operator in Willcox, AZ. The Distribution Automation Operator (DAO) monitors SSVEC’s electric grid system performance and identifies potential issues utilizing a computer system called SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).  The DAO also uses SCADA and the Outage Management System (OMS) to switch or move electricity from one area to another to complete routine maintenance and construction projects with minimal interruption.
