This position evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment in identifying and implementing enhancements, adaptations, and modifications to existing and/or new equipment at substation facilities.  Engineering assignments are broad in nature and incumbent will have the latitude and the responsibility for decision making related to substation projects and operational issues. The incumbent will supervise construction and installation of engineering projects, which will include oversight of personnel from the internal operations group and outside contractors. Applicant will have the ability to learn transmission substation designs by working alongside engineering design firms.
