BARC Electric, a member-owned electric cooperative with headquarters in Millboro, Virginia, seeks a qualified applicant to fill the position of Groundman.     Major duties and responsibilities include: Assists in the construction and maintenance of electric and fiber plant, including: Pulling cable Digging trenches Mounting NIDs Starting U-Guards Anticipates lineman’s needs and supplies him with the materials and tools requested Assists in surveying and splicing as required Cares for tools and equipment May be asked to operate a plow and other equipment periodically. Assists in emergency maintenance as required Performs other duties appropriate to a Groundman
