The Broadband Design Technician assists the BEC Communications Department in providing pre-construction contacts, contracts, easements, planning, and design for reliable, safe and economical line extensions, removals, changes, improvements, and maintenance.     Essential Functions of Position:   Position involves a combination of indoor and outdoor activities. Outdoor activities include exposure to various weather conditions including heat, high humidity, cold, wind, fog, rain, lightning, hail, sleet, snow, and ice for extended periods of time.   Observes safety rules and practices and recommends to fellow workers the use and practice of the same.
