General Purpose of Job This position is responsible to prepare AutoCAD drawings, cable schedules, conduit schedules, and bill of materials for substation projects; prepare drawings for site evaluations and substation modifications; coordinate designs for construction with civil engineers; coordinate designs for construction with protection and controls engineers; keep substation one line diagrams updated and forwarded to appropriate departments; maintain all substation disciplines as-built files and issue as required.
