The Purchasing Agent purchases materials, vehicles, equipment, and supplies on a timely basis and establishes and maintains controls, procedures and inventory levels for materials for effective management of the Cooperative and supervises and manages the warehouse and it’s assigned attendants. Key Duties and Responsibilities:• Maintain an optimum inventory of quality material, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient use of Cooperative working capital.• Responsible for maintaining continuous inventory control over stock in storage in assigned warehouses to ensure an adequate supply for the construction and maintenance program of the Cooperative.• Issue purchase orders for goods and services.
