Big Bend Electric Cooperative Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Lineman for our Mesa, WA location. Mesa is located approximately 30 miles north of Pasco, WA (Tri-Cities). Job Description
Constructs and installs overhead and underground distribution lines. Work processes include, digging holes, setting poles, climbing poles, stringing wire, trenching for underground primary and secondary, installing transformers, regulators, reclosers, installing metering and reading meters.
Requirements
Certified Journeyman Lineman
Must possess a valid driver’s license with CDL Class A
First aid, CPR certification and pole top rescue.
Applicants must possess the physical abilities to perform strenuous work (able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during the workday).
Must be willing and available for after-hours call outs.
