Are you a skilled engineer ready to make a difference? Darke Rural Electric Cooperative is seeking a System Engineer to join our team immediately.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Director of Engineering on various projects, including system studies such as load faults, fault currents, and coordination. You'll also be involved in staking and line design, implementing digital mapping and SCADA systems, and assisting with substation maintenance. Additional responsibilities include working with our AMI metering system, sizing new services, and providing support to fellow team members.

Qualified candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college, with coursework in 3-phase power systems. Strong communication and computer skills are essential, along with self-motivation and a customer service-oriented mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and distribution modeling software is required. A valid driver’s license and willingness to relocate within close proximity to our cooperative office are also necessary.
