Central Electric Power Cooperative is currently accepting applications for the position of Journeyman or Apprentice Relay Technician. Individuals interested in this position should have a minimum of an Associates Degree in Industrial Electricity, Electronics or related technology degree. This position will require the individual to perform a wide range of duties to include but not limited to the following: Perform installation, commissioning and maintenance of protective relaying equipment in high voltage substations and power plants. Commissioning, maintaining, testing, or repairing circuit breakers, transformers, or other substation equipment Perform functional testing of substation control circuits on relay panel, transformers & circuit breakers
