Full time position utilizes multiple software platforms to study, plan, protect and maintain Holy Cross Energy’s (HCE) distribution system. Provides technical support or expertise to internal and external stake holders for the safe and efficient operations of the distribution system. Supports the partnership opportunities associated with community driven microgrid project. Provides technical support or expertise for the further expansion of distributed energy systems across the HCE distribution system. Works directly with management on special projects associated with utility services and programs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
2 years electrical engineer or related work experience
Knowledge of NERC, Reliability Standards, System Modeling Programs, MDMS, distribution protection and system planning preferred.
PE License preferred.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Starting annual salary $110,043 - $147,903 DOE.
