Mountain Parks Electric is a distribution cooperative seeking an individual for the Crew Foreman position in our Granby, Colorado location. Mountain Parks Electric has approximately 70 employees, 1,800 miles of line, and serves 22,000 meters. MPEI is headquartered in Granby, Colorado located at an elevation of 7,935 feet, 90 miles from Denver International Airport and 25 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. The Crew Foreman provides effective leadership of assigned personnel and assures adherence to safety and specification requirements while constructing, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical facilities. This position plans, organizes, and coordinates a variety of new construction, maintenance, and/or repair projects, on energized and de-energized lines both above ground and underground, on all voltages required throughout the system to ensure efficient utilization of materials, equipment, and staff. The Crew Foreman assists in planning, developing, and recommending work plans and programs, through thorough knowledge of Mountain Parks Electric’s entire electrical system.

Qualifications include a Journeyman Lineman certification with 1 year of closely related and progressive job experience. Must have a valid Colorado Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and must keep current and valid throughout employment. Must reside within a 45-minute response time of service area center, and within service territory.
