CFC has a need for a Vice President, Strategic Facilitation to join our Strategic Facilitation Services team. Provide executive level facilitation, delivering the suite of SSG services at member locations throughout the United States.
As a Vice President, Strategic Facilitation, you will: • Facilitate strategic planning, enterprise risk management, Commitment to Excellence training and other planning sessions for the electric cooperative network’s boards of directors and executive leadership teams across the United States. • Develop strategies and materials that enhance the strategic services provided to the membership, focused on their success in an evolving industry. • Provide strategic guidance and oversight for the idea generation, enhancement, development and implementation of member-facing financial models, tools and financial analyses.
To be successful, you will need: • Minimum of five years’ experience in a leadership (e.g. CEO, CFO) position within an electric cooperative or equivalent experience. • Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters of Business Administration or equivalent preferred. • Successful completion of multiple board and senior staff facilitations. • Exceptional strategic facilitation skills that mesh well with electric cooperative boards of directors and executive leadership team expectations. • Broad and proven understanding of strategic and operational functions of the electric distribution, generation and transmission, and statewide cooperative businesses. • Thorough and broad understanding of the governance and operations of an electric cooperative. • Thorough understanding of, and issues impacting, the electric and cooperative industries. • Proven, well-developed understanding of the complexities of the electric cooperative financial statements and accounting requirements. • Comfortable accepting and answering complex financial, strategic and operational questions from all areas within the electric cooperative network. • Thorough understanding of CFC’s products, services and programs, so that they can be aligned with member needs. • Highly developed skills in educating/training both small and large groups of electric cooperative senior leaders. • Advanced communication and negotiation skills. • Advanced writing skills. • Developed and proven ability to use Microsoft Office suite.
