As the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at the Thomas Hill Energy Center, you will provide consultation and partnership with multiple key stakeholders to support business objectives. In this role, you will work closely with the plant human resources team to build relationships in an effort to meet our steady and noble mission of providing reliable, affordable electricity to our members.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to accomplish initiatives spanning workforce planning, strategic staffing, compliance, performance management, and employee & labor relations to help shape the future of our workforce.
Consult on business initiatives by assessing and anticipating HR related needs, communicating proactively, serving as a change agent in necessary situations, and developing integrated and value-added services and solutions that deliver value to the business.
Be a trusted resource and advisor to leadership, employees, and other HR staff while interacting regularly with job applicants, all levels of leadership, and external partners, building relationships at every level.
Interpret and administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA); advise leadership on application of contract language and provide guidance throughout the grievance process.
Lead various HR projects simultaneously coordinating multiple assignments with competing priorities to deliver results.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of three years previous HR work experience is required with professional HR certification preferred; all experience levels will be considered.
Demonstrate experience recruiting professional and technical talent and directly handling employee relations and performance management situations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products with prior HCM experience preferred (Workday a plus).
Demonstrate excellent use of judgment and discretion, strong attention to detail, and be able to effectively lead multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and demonstrated interpersonal skills are essential.
