To assist in the task to construct, maintain, and operate the electrical facilities utilizing sound construction and engineering practices.

General Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have 1 year of line work experience or be a graduate of a lineman training program.
• Must send a driving record and a CDL is preferred.
• Any applicant shall have up to 180 days to come into compliance with the living requirements.
• Commitment to safety and work within a team with good communication skills.
• Ability to deal courteously with employees, customers, and the general public.
• Availability to work overtime and accept emergency callouts from home.
• Physical and mental ability to organize and process detail assignments.
• Basic computer skills desired.
• Preference will be given to anyone who lives in Georgetown County or anyone willing to relocate to Georgetown County excluding the area of Georgetown County north of the south causeway of Pawleys Island.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (0 to 100 degrees F), in ice, snow, rain, sun, etc.
• Must be able to walk a mile over uneven terrain, jump ditches and any other requirement associated with power line construction and right of way clearing
