Seeking individuals that have the following skills and/or knowledge:
A valid Journeyman Line Maintainer certificate from a DOL accredited apprentice program OR a minimum of 4 years of line experience in OH/UG electric distribution including all phases of line construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Maintain a high level of technical information in regard to High Voltage Linework.
Exhibit a habit of continuous learning.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of applicable traffic laws and rules governing safe driving practices.
Other position requirements:
Have and maintain a CDL Class A driver’s license.
Applicant must also pass pre-employment DOT physical, background check, and, DOT drug screen.
This position has a residency requirement of 30 minute drive time of the Seminole or Wetumka office (I-40 and Us 377 intersection). Applicants that live outside of the mile radius will have 6 months from hire date to move within the requirement.
