Manages siting, environmental, and regulatory activities of multiple, concurrent transmission projects. Identifies regulatory requirements and environmental risks, obtains regulatory permits, and develops strategies to obtain agency approvals for transmission projects. Develops NEPA documentation. Provides direct support to both state and federal environmental regulatory and legislative processes through advisory committees, permit negotiation teams, and industry lobbying coalitions. A detailed knowledge of applicable regulatory programs and a broad knowledge of principles and practices relating to applicable regulatory programs is required.
