The Substation Technician provides for the operation, installation, testing, checkout and maintenance of substation and associated equipment on the 1803 system. Responsible for working safely while following all safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. Perform maintenance on substation equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, voltage regulators, reclosers, mobile substations, load tap changers, station batteries and chargers, capacitor banks, circuit switchers, motor operators, and associated equipment.
