Provides methodologies and techniques in planning and design of the Cooperative’s electrical system; ensuring that power is provided in a safe, efficient and economical manner, and performing all engineering related functions as required.
Essential Job Functions:
Works with and provides technical knowledge to staking technicians and consumers. (30%)
Provides technical knowledge and field oversight with system mapping (30%)
Participates and assists System Engineer in substation and transmission line projects. (20%)
Provides technical knowledge and field troubleshooting skills to metering technicians. (10%)
Monitors system parameters and substation analysis reports.(5%)*
Performs necessary tasks as assigned by management. (5%)*

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited College or University with a Power emphasis. Previous training in design and maintenance of utility substation and power lines preferred.
