General Purpose of Job

This position is responsible for administrative support for the Supply Chain units to include Logistics, Warehouse, Inventory Control, Contracts,  and Purchasing; coordinate internal and external correspondence, program and process documentation; meeting planning and logistics; manage all pertinent files and databases for Supply Chain; helping maintain contracts, vendor information and qualifications, insurances and bonds; preparing various supporting documents and bid packages with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality to handle sensitive legal documents; scanning and preparing logistics databases, spreadsheets and metrics on returns, repairs and investment recovery to support reporting to the Finance Department.

Education

• Associate’s degree in business or related field
• Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Experience

• Four (4) years of experience working in supply chain or similar environment including procurement, contracts, administrative support, inventory, and logistics.
• Preferred: Experience within an electric utility or related industry.

Other Requirements

• Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including a personal computer, printers, copy machines, telephone, and scanners.
• Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations; including evenings and on weekends are possible during peak business times and during storm season.
• Normal work hours will be eight (8) hours Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
