Summary of Duties: The OSP Broadband Planner is responsible for designing and mapping outside plant (OSP) fiber optic cable systems, focusing primarily on FTTH networks. The role involves understanding optical network elements, including hubs, cabinets (active/passive), and splitter/tap architectures. Responsibilities include fiber allocation, route planning, terrain analysis, material cost estimation, work order creation, inventory checks, and coordination with GIS, inventory, and construction teams.
