Position Purpose: Operate, repair, inspect and maintain the cooperative's substations and transmission facilities and record all field inspection data in a timely manner. Essential Functions: Perform monthly substation inspections. Visit each assigned substation monthly Visually inspect all insulators, switches, overhead conductors and general station condition. Identify needed repairs and adjustments and report to supervisor. Provide labor for maintenance to include substation apparatus, fences, buildings and gravel.
