OBJECTIVE To strive to obtain the proper system design through adherence to construction specifications and other requirements as specified by the Rural Utilities Service, the Public Service Commission, and the National Electrical Safety Code. RESPONSIBILITIES Obtains and assists in securing right of way. Draws up and processes staking sheets. Lays out, surveys and stakes line jobs. Consults with Line Superintendents on all newly assigned jobs. In the absence of the Line Superintendent consults with appropriate crew chief.   Summarizes construction units and retirement units as needed. Assists in maintaining system maps.
